Lorenza Fabre Vega is a Licensed Social Worker specializing in providing therapy to individuals, adolescents, couples, and families in English and Spanish languages. She focuses on addressing issues related to self-esteem, self-image, bereavement, grief and loss, and life transitions. She assists couples in exploring their sexual and emotional concerns to find resolution and healthy ways of communication. Lorenza has gained experience working in various settings such as the shelter system, hospitals, and school-based programs, and through this has learned how to best support her client’s needs. Lorenza’s goal is to create space for exploration without judgment; to allow her clients to feel seen, heard, valued, and understood. Her aim is to assist her client’s in finding ways to live out their fullest potential and be their most authentic self. Lorenza is originally from Mexico City and has lived in the U.S. for over 18 years. Her bi-cultural background and experiences enables her to support her clients in their process of change and adaptation. Lorenza studied Expressive Art Therapy, Human Services, and Holistic Psychology in Lesley University in Boston, MA and completed her Master’s degree in Social Work at Columbia University.

Lorenza uses a strength-based perspective and the polyvagal theory to support her clients in finding new tools to make their desired change. She applies her knowledge in different therapeutic modalities such as narrative and art therapy, while also using the psychodynamic model. Lorenza continues to develop her clinical skills and education through various trainings, such as DBT, MI, and more.
